Rebecca Zapen has a new album out titled Nest.

I photographed Rebecca awhile ago and she used one of my images for the cover.

Here are some out-takes from the shoot.

Rebecca put on a fantastic show last September at E-Street ‘s Listening Room.

She has an encore performance November 7. Go check it out.

Super-tasters

This was a cool shoot.

Linda Bartoshuk is a professor/researcher at University of Florida.

She has discovered 25% of us are super-tasters. Super-tasters have a lot of taste-buds.

Find out if you are a super-taster by placing blue food coloring on your tongue.

Most of us have taste-buds that look like dots.

Super-tasters have a lot of bumps and they are very small. Like the texture of a football.

See the lighter dots on the tongue. This tongue is not a super-taster.

Linda is the smartest women I have ever spoken with. Thanks for all the taste-bud insight Linda!

New personal project. Need people to pose.

I’m working on a new series of portraits and need people to sit for me. All ages.

Working title for the series is called Smashed.

It only takes 20 minutes of your time and you’ll get the portrait when it’s done.

New Taverna San Marco Photography

If you didn’t know yet Chef Kenny Gilbert from Top Chef has a new restaurant called Nippers Beach Grille here in Jacksonville.

I enjoyed meeting him!

Side note: He got so robbed on Top Chef. Just saying…
