Photos from 2nd Annual Beer Mile in Jacksonville

The 2nd Annual Preseason Projectile Classic Beer Mile was held on Sunday morning and I showed up to photograph the carnage.

Short summary of a Beer Mile:

Drink a beer run a quarter mile, Drink a beer run a quarter mile, Drink a beer run a quarter mile, Drink a beer run a quarter mile. If you can’t keep it down you run a penalty lap.

Not sure who the demented fool is that came up with this idea.  But it sure does make for some fun photos. Enjoy!

American Way Magazine dropped last week with an article on JJ Grey.

I’ve had the opportunity to photograph JJ a few times and he is always a pleasure to work with.

We shot at his family farm and at one of his favorite food joints, Chowder Ted’s.

Thanks Ted for the use of the restaurant and the always phenomenal fish chowder!

New Project. I’m Teal. Are you?

After watching the Jacksonville Jaguar’s game day attendance get smaller and smaller every passing year. I decided I wanted to do something to create a buzz.  My idea is to create a photography campaign that questions our citizens fandom.

I’ve been threatening to do this project for awhile. Thanks to my guinea pigs? Mike Romero, Ben Davis, and Josh Klinger.

I need peeps to photograph.  If anyone out there wants to pose for a portrait please let me know.

New Work-Portrait

Traveled over to Live Oak , Florida to photograph David Dees. He is the head IT guy for the county schools in Live Oak.

My friends Jim Stracke and Lea Laskowitz opened a new salon in 5 points called Hawthorn.

We did a shoot this week for their marketing material and the website.

The shop is fantastic. It is a beautiful space.
