Portrait Top Chef Kenny Gilbert

If you didn’t know yet Chef Kenny Gilbert from Top Chef has a new restaurant called Nippers Beach Grille here in Jacksonville.

I enjoyed meeting him!

Side note: He got so robbed on Top Chef.  Just saying…

Liz Grenamyer- Catering by Liz

Liz Grenamyer has been a culinary heavyweight in Jacksonville as long as I can remember.

She’s one of the best caterers in town and you have probably eaten her food without even knowing it.

It was fun hanging out in her kitchen and seeing where the magic takes place.

She offers great take away food at Bottega Di Bella on King Street.  Check it out.

RAM. Toyota’s Farm to Table event

I had to pull myself out of the 15K River Run Saturday morning because of a foot injury.

I was bummed but it freed me up to attend Toyota’s Farm to Table at RAM.

Here is a summary from their website:

Created in 2009, the Toyota Farm to Table Tour travels to farmers markets around the country to showcase the connection between chefs and the farmers that produce and sell locally grown ingredients. In support of all the benefits markets offer their communities, Toyota makes a donation to each partnering farmers market on the Tour.

I didn’t stay for the whole day. I did see the following booths:
