Last week was the series finale of Friday Night Lights on DirectTV.
In my opinion this is one of the best TV shows of all time and the finale was absolutely sublime.
I still have no idea why this show didn’t blow up. It was like watching a stellar movie that continued every week. It was well written, had great camera work and the acting by such a young cast was brilliant. I am a bit peeved that it didn’t take off because it could have continued for at least a couple more seasons with the story line.
What more do you want America? I guess Minute to Win it, American Idol, and Wipeout.
Mindless entertainment.
I can’t say it better than this guy so give this a read. Friday Night Lights.
NBC will start the final season on April 15, 2011. Go ahead and check it out.
Many thanks Peter Berg. I am a fan.

I’ve been wanting to do chicken portraits for awhile now. So when I found out my friends had a rooster I scheduled a little POULTR0graphy session.
Oh… I had grand plans of photographing some close ups of him on a white seamless outside.
The talent had other ideas. I learned why the Rooster got his nickname, Cock.
Anyone remember the scene in Rocky II where Rocky tries to catch the chicken. Now you have a visual folks.
After about a hour I gave up trying to make the Rooster do what I wanted and ended up playing by his rules.
Cock! You may have won the battle now but I’ll win the war. I promise.
Till next time…

Experience with photography gear, video, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Final Cut Pro a plus.
Good writing skills won’t hurt either.
